Among the Hunebeds: Miss Drenthe Candidate Shoot

For a photoshoot with a Miss Drenthe candidate, we chose a location that almost symbolizes the province itself: the hunebeds. A place where history, nature, and the character of Drenthe come together.

Before the shoot, I contributed to the concept and purpose of the session. The goal was not only to portray the candidate, but also to visually connect her with the province she represents. The hunebeds provided a strong and recognizable backdrop for this idea.

The shoot took place in spring, creating a fresh and light atmosphere in the images. The soft light and natural surroundings gave the photographs a look that fits well with the campaign leading up to the elections.

By combining location, season, and concept, the shoot resulted in a series of images that highlight both the candidate and the character of the Drenthe landscape.
